Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor have been roped in to play the leads of writer-director Nitesh Tiwari’s next directorial. This untitled next of the Dangal famed director, is in collaboration with Sajid Nadiadwala and Fox Star Studio, as stated in reports. A leading daily had reported, long back, that the protagonist, who is an engineer will be played by Sushant Singh Rajput.
“A story I am excited to tell. Releases on August 30, 2019. Cast to be announced soon, stay tuned,” Nitesh Tiwari had shared on his Twitter account on Thursday.
“The film is a riveting story on today’s generation,” Sajid Nadiadwala had added. The film will undergo for vigorous shooting schedule around November, with Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor giving out bulk dates to the film’s completion.
The film will be a student-drama with a social message, set in an engineering college and all about embracing both success and failure! An insider revealed to a leading daily, “The actress has had multiple meetings with the makers and is keen to come on board the film, but is yet to sign on the dotted line.”
Meanwhile, on the other front, Sushant Singh Rajput seems to be on a roll as he seems to be juggling several films at a time. Following the wrap up of a major portion of Abhishek Chaubey’s dacoit-drama Sonchiriya in the ravines of Chambal, Sushant Singh Rajput has started off the final schedule of Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath last month. Soon, the Kai Po Che actor will get busy with another of his next, which will be Mukesh Chhabra’s directorial debut, the Hindi remake of The Fault In Our Stars, produced by Fox Star Studios, for two months.
On the other side, Shraddha Kapoor has a song sequence as well as a few more days of shoot pending on the Prabhas starrer Telugu-Tamil-Hindi trilingual Saaho. Following that, she will get busy with her preparations for Amol Gupte’s Saina Nehwal biopic, that will go on the floors in September.
